Competitive gymnast from her early ages, who switched to cheerleading in her teenage years. As a competitor, Lina has managed to collect medals and titles from the biggest International competitions (National, European and World championships) in all of the different divisions (individual, partner stunt, group stunt, all-girl and coed team). Next to her competitive career, she started coaching younger teams, which has started her passion for coaching. All the hard work and dedication to be the best at what she does, got her to lead her teams to win medals and titles on World’s biggest competitions (ICU Worlds, Summit, ECU European Championship…) and she has only started.
Interested in all of the sports in his early ages, beside cheerleading, Matjaž did competitive gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, trampoline dunking and many more. After deciding to focus all of his energy to cheerleading, Matjaž has competed and achieved all he dreamed of. In his 23 years of cheerleading career (14 years coaching), he won multiple medals at all of the biggest International competitions (National, European, World championships, Summit) as a competitor and as a coach. His background in engineering and kinesiology knowledge, makes him great in understanding the body movement. All the knowledge gives him the ability to create and incorporate multiple new drills and techniques in his coaching.
ABOUT CHEER IQ
The struggle of finding some useful tips, literature or any information about the stunt technique through our competitive and now coaching careers have made our job and progress in cheerleading extremely hard and slow. We have made many mistakes and wrong decisions, which made us learn important lessons the hard way. Our passion for coaching, pushing the people to get better and achieve their goals made us create the CHEER IQ. We wanted to share the hard-earned knowledge with the cheerleading community and save the people from all the mistakes and the hard-times we had to go through.
