From her early days as a competitive gymnast, Lina Kogoj transitioned into the world of cheerleading during her teenage years. As a seasoned competitor, Lina has decorated herself with medals and titles from prestigious international events, including National, European, and World championships. Her versatility shines across various divisions—individual, partner stunt, group stunt, and coed team. But Lina’s journey extends beyond personal achievements; she discovered her passion for coaching while mentoring younger teams. With her dedication and hard work, she now leads her teams to victory on the grandest stages, such as the ICU Worlds, Summit, and ECU European Championship. And this is just the beginning for Lina.

Matjaž Gerbec’s athletic journey included a wide array of sports during his formative years—competitive gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, and even trampoline dunking. However, it was cheerleading that captured his heart, prompting him to channel all his energy into the sport. Over his remarkable 27-year cheerleading career (including 19 years as a coach), Matjaž has achieved every dream he dared to envision. His trophy cabinet boasts multiple medals from prestigious international competitions—National, European, World championships, and the Summit. Beyond his athletic achievements, Matjaž’s background in engineering and kinesiology equips him with a profound understanding of body movement. This knowledge fuels his ability to innovate, creating new drills and techniques that elevate his coaching to unparalleled heights.
